With the help of a series of twenty beard-style tutorial videos, you can now learn how to create a new beard style at home. The videos can be watched on YouTube and on the Philips Male Grooming Experience Centre, a platform for (beard) grooming enthusiasts.
Sequence Amsterdam is a brand new film festival promoting Dutch short films in The Netherlands. The festival is giving the filmmakers the opportunity to have professionals like Rutger Hauer, Jan Harlan, or Eddy Terstall comment on their films. Because of the informal vibe of the festival jury members can often be spotted at the weekly screening sessions, lowering the bar for young creatives to come in contact with well-known film professionals. We created the name, logo and identity.

After finishing all the brand work, the first thing we did is create a template for social media to enable them to create content on a daily bases.

Democracy is not a fairytale. It is hard work, but also our best chance for a fair, free and prosperous society. An unelected, unfree and irresponsible head of state does not fit with democracy. An elected parliament, free discussion and transparent, verifiable power make democracy stronger. Republic (formerly Republican Society) wants to abolish the monarchy and replace it with a parliamentary republic. For Republiek I Wrote the new pay-off and designed the new logo and identity together with a social media campaign and merchandise such as hoodies, T-shirts and flags.
Succession to a head of state is not only undemocratic, discriminatory, the wrong example and rarely produces the best results, it also goes against the rights of the child. Succession is the arrangement whereby the function of head of state is transferred from one family member to another. In the Netherlands, succession is laid down in the Constitution. In principle, the king's eldest child is the first to qualify. Until 1983, boys were given priority over girls.
Digital Container Shipping Association (DCSA) is a non-profit organisation founded in 2019. Founders of DCSA are major ocean carriers like Maersk, Hapah-Lloyd, One and Unity. For a more future-proof industry and sustainable environment, the DCSA is on a mission to apply digitalisation and standardisation.
Together with a copywriter/creative we kicked off by doing research and organising a full-day workshop, we even played with Lego. After learning more about DCSA and their team we started our process.
The brand identity and story is about Connected Movement. Their new logo shows an open sea with a diversity of container ships aligned, connected, and forming a unity. Also, the ongoing movement of the ships, the industry and the DCSA are translated into their digital identity.
New editorial concept and re-design for the Greenpeace Magazine. The magazine focuses on the people that make the organisation Greenpeace happen everyday; the volunteers, researchers, protesters and the outsiders with a special story to tell. The design is no-nonsense and easy to reproduce by the small Greenpeace media team.
Zeitgeist is not your regular newspaper. In fact, it is a purely and digital-first news carrier. With videos, social channels and a highly efficient way of working ZG is revolutionizing the way we consume real and fake news. I was invited to make ZG stand for the new era of journalism, and on the side, make it a real and relatable brand.
